This Virgin Atlantic terminal is luxurious as fuck. Two kinds of water!
At least I haven’t accidentally posted anything to the Staff Blog yet. :[
:D
Time for a new UI interaction? Instead of a dropdown blog selector, we should have a row of our blog icons where the “Create post” and “Preview” buttons currently are. Clicking on a blog icon publishes your post to just that blog. Preview can be an interim step enabled with a checkbox.
Write post > Click a blog icon > Preview screen pops up > If all good, post gets posted - If not, go back

Very unenthused with the texture and typeface choices they offered.
Anonymous asked: Just calm it with the personal posts. I followed you for the car and design photos + articles. Not to be rude, and not to sound unsupportive, but I don't want to read hundreds of live updates about your college application process. Go for a walk or something in place of taking breaks from essays on Tumblr.
You must be a different anon! Otherwise, someone is really obsessed with changing writing styles.
See, there’s a reason this is my personal blog. I never made a cars & design topical blog because other people have more time than I to dedicate to just that subject. And they already have some awesome blogs, so I hope you’re finding those.
It’s pretty obvious that I’ve been posting overtime about my college app adventures this week, but that’s what’s taken over my life, so it goes without saying that’s also what took over my blog. This is a personal blog after all.
Honestly, I find more value in posting about my thoughts and my life than any specific topics because when I go back to look at my blog, I’m more concerned with how I was like at a certain point in life than with how the car industry or the design industry was trending.
You are probably better off not following me if you’re annoyed by my posts, but I do appreciate the occasional anon feedback even if I’m still going to post what I want to post. :)
It shows colleges you are unproductive.
Tumblr for me is a source of inspiration and a method of expression. It has helped me in the past 3 years, but it certainly is no accomplishment. Posting 5 things a day means time taken away from doing other things (like homework). And in the long run, blogging doesn’t help you get anywhere.
Since colleges are so intent on knowing the real me, they should just look at my Tumblr.
Risky? Superbly. But I always felt the real me was a good me. And it may just be the most interesting me.
Seriously considering this now…
I think I was delusional while filling out that last college app. I hope it only makes it better. And bless them for making their app due on the 9th.
I also gave a nod to David Karp and Tumblr on the short-response.
The question was: If you could spend one day in New York City with a famous inventor, who would you like it to be, where would you go, and why?
I was like.. inventor? How would I know an inventor specifically from NYC? I didn’t even know people still claimed to be “inventors”.
And then, aha. Tumblr! New York! Right? Right? That means David Karp!
Here goes the 500-char. pseudo-essay.
As a young entrepreneur, I look up to startup founders who have had a similar drive to start early. NYC happens to be the home of talented young Tumblr CEO, 25-year-old David Karp. After launching in 2007, Tumblr has seen growth that now speaks to over 7 million visitors a WEEK.
As one of the earlier users, Tumblr has also changed my life on a personal level. The service has been a source and canvas for my creativity the past 3 years.
We would go absolutely nowhere because we both <3 NY.
Can you believe it? 500-char. right there. I told you, I was delusional while writing it.
Hello. For the past four months I have been regretting my decision to not talk to you on the ferry and now I’ve decided to do something about it. It was August 8th when we first saw each other on the express bus out of Vancouver to horseshoe bay. We both took the ferry to Departure bay. Halfway through the trip the boat stopped for a safety drill and we saw each other on the upper deck. You were taking pictures and then leaned on the rail beside me. As much as I wanted to, I never said anything, and I’ve never regretted anything more than that. I think you are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen and I would very much like to meet you.
If you are her, Email me at: ferrygirlsearch@gmail.com
Reblog this to help me find her. Please.
This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen, honestly. But I can sympathize.
And I believe I’ve been on the exact same ferry.
