New Xbox 360 Metro UI is niccceee. Part of it is because I like Metro, part of it because it finally looks like what the PS3 had in the beginning.
Today is the 25th anniversary of Microsoft Windows! On November 22nd, 1985, Windows 1.0 was released with a revolutionary system that allowed users to click on “windows”, menus, and icons rather than typing in commands. It sold for $99 and came with program like Paint, Notepad, Clock, and the game Reversi.

Haha, I love it. And it’s not marketing propaganda either; Windows Phone really is designed for glanceability. And, I didn’t realize this before but it comes out on my birthday. I won’t wish for one though because I’m Linux geek and because Samsung makes ugly phones. Sorry, I just wrote a very incongruent paragraph.

Microsoft opens a new data center in surburban Chicago, which is where I live! “The data center itself is housed in an unmarked warehouse in one of the Chicago area’s many industrial districts. (The software maker didn’t want the exact location disclosed.)” It’s a bit innovative in that it’s just a warehouse filled with special shipping containers, which are filled with the actual servers (actual picture above).
