Sending out some more transcripts. Yes, all my stamps say ‘Love’ on them because everyone loves some love in the mail.

THIS is why I don’t like cruise ships. In a canoe I’m completely in charge of where I’m going and how quickly. In a cruise ship, you may be having a daiquiri by the pool or taking a nap in your room and all of a sudden BAM you’re sinking… Into the fucking ocean. AHH
I’ll be fucking pissed if this happens on my Spring Break!
It was on the news today that a South Korean honeymoon couple finally got rescued after being trapped in the ship for 24 hours after it capsized.
I just think that would be a pretty epic honeymoon. I’m sure it bonded their relationship better than sitting around all day on a sundeck.
I would not be pissed if that happened on my honeymoon. :)

I almost didn’t apply. Can you believe that?
Carnegie had been my dream school (along with Stanford) up until my Senior year. Then as I researched more colleges, my eyes started straying to the racks on racks on racks scholarships at some schools and the exotic locales of other schools (NYC!). But I came around, took a long, hard look at Carnegie, and instantly I’m back.
It is beyond the most perfect fit for me. The programs are fantastisch, the campus is superkühl, and the people are wünderbar.
I don’t have a source for this, but it’s said to be written in a German newspaper article:
“Even in their deepest sorrow the norwegians don’t get hysterical. They resist the hate. It is amazing to see how politicians and the whole country reacts. They are sad to the deepest thread of their souls. They cry in dignity. But nobody swears to take revenge. Instead they want even more humanity and democracy. That is one of the most remarkable strengths of that little country.”
And it makes me proud to be Norwegian. It makes me proud that our Prime Minister wants to fight back with more democracy, in contrast to Bush’s reaction to 9/11.
This does not make us all suddenly in favor of the death penalty. This does not make us all go out and buy guns. This does not make us go to war against every right wing Christian.
This makes us love even more.
A survivor from the summer camp said one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read:
If a single man can display such hatred - think only of how much love we all can display together.
150 000 people in Oslo raised roses in the air, singing the national anthem and “Til Ungdommen” (to the youth).
1/4 of my hometown, over 10 000 people, gathered in the centre of town with lit torches.
Most shopping malls, stores and restaurants were closed nationwide.I was about to write I never imagined us reacting like this. But I realised we are reacting exactly as I would expect, had I ever thought a huge tragedy like this could happen. But I can honestly say it hasn’t even crossed my mind. Tragedies don’t belong in Norway.
Lupe Fiasco - Go Go Gadget Flow
If “THE COOL” isn’t one of your top five best rap albums of all-time then something is definitely wrong with you.

This song + “Fighters” make me nostalgic about a fateful field trip I had up in a beautiful, remote Wisconsin forest. It was the best field trip I’ve ever been on. But then I fell in love with this beautiful girl without realizing it. She liked me too. But I was dumb and ignorant and didn’t do anything about it so it just became awkward between us two. Afterwards, of course, I felt like an idiot.
I still think she was the most perfect girl I’ve ever met, but another side of me tells me that I’m imagining it all like Gatsby did. Thankfully, she doesn’t go to my school anymore so I don’t need to worry about it now. However, she, or the she that I imagine, will always be in my mind as what the perfect girl would be like for me.
The songs are totally irrelevant, but Lupe Fiasco just happened to be what I listened to at the time.
