Groupon is having this as a nationwide deal to coincide with the Oscars today. Pick any city and then you’ll see a link at the top about the special RedBox deal.
RedBox is already famous for their $1 a night DVD rentals, but $1 for three rentals is just awesome! The only catch is that you still need a credit card when you go to the machine because that’s how RedBox will charge you if you don’t return the rental.
If you’re looking for a decent point & shoot that looks as hipster as yourself, the beautiful Pentax Optio i-10 is on sale right now for $95 free shipping.
Sadly, Pentax isn’t the glorious camera maker it once was, but the i-10 gets its styling from old Pentax SLRs. The 12MP sensor, 28mm wide-angle 5x lens, and 720p video recording aren’t anything shocking though they’re pretty amazing for being under $100. I guess Pentax is really trying to differentiate themselves because they threw in some totally unexpected features like manual focus, simulated bokeh and lomography, and wireless remote compatibility. I really want this camera but I really can’t spend any money right now. =]
Yeah.. I’m not advertising. Just a good deal. =]
Should I splurge on this? Illmatic 10th Anniversary Platinum 2-disc Boxset for $7 brand new shipped to your doorstep. I don’t listen to Nas much but that’s only because I haven’t taken the time to appreciate the classics, and the Illmatic is definitely the best of the classics. I’m piss poor though. If I buy this I’ll have less than 2 bucks left. Splurge or no splurge?
Samsung CL65. This has got to be the Jesuscamera. It’s got brushed aluminum, GPS for geotagging, WiFi for uploading, Bluetooth for phone transfers, accelerometer for cool tilting effects like the iPhone, 3.5” touchscreen, 720p video, and 5x non-protruding optical zoom. All that for $239. Too bad I need a camera in the $150 range.
