chicago at night. home :]
Chicago is a bit depressing in the winter, I must admit.
We even got out of school 25 minutes early.
Accumulation was incredible. As soon as I brushed off all the snow on my car, there was already enough new snow to obscure the windshield.
In some empty subdivision intersections, it was easy to swing out the back of my car (which has almost no load) and power through with the front wheels. Yes, I’ll stop doing that because it’s bad.

Autumn Along the Chicago River (by phototravel1)
I really don’t know why I signed up for it. They’re the only college that offered me an interview and they said “space is limited,” so I just jumped at the chance. But it’s like an hour away and I don’t have anything spectacularly creative to say.
I feel like with college admissions, if you really want to get into a school, you need to think of something completely mindblowing for every interaction you have with the school. Obviously no one tells you that, but when they ask you for an essay, you can’t just write a normal essay. If you go for an interview, you can’t just answer what they decide to ask you. The only problem is that it takes so much more creative planning to do something out of the box for every step. That’s just how I feel anyway.
Chicago Peeps!
I am going to Chicago in 10 days and need ideas of things to do and places to go that don’t involve hot dogs, even though I love hot dogs, don’t get me wrong!
Deep-dish pizza > Hot dogs
gino’s > lou’s > giordano’s
Really. I haven’t found a Gino’s anywhere near where I live, but there’s a Giordano’s about 3 minutes away. Will try sometime.
