And it seems like they’re going to turn it into the default mobile Twitter app. I have to say Twitter is pretty unfriendly with its API partners. It’s similar to when Twitter picked bit.ly out as the default URL shortener, and pretty much killed its competitors (literally killing the once-popular tr.im).
Easy-peasy graph thanks to Google’s implementation of World Bank’s new API. Try it yourself, just Google “internet users in world”. Also note the interesting gap between the “developed” and “developing” nations.
