   Mount LeFroy, Lawren Harris, 1930.

   I have to admit I had never even heard of Lawren Harris until they mentioned that his paintings were the inspiration for the mountain projection during last night’s opening ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics, and so today I was piqued to check out his work and I have to say I’m very enamored. I love how soft they feel, and their stark, graphic simplicity. I’d definitely hang these on my wall.

   Absolutely love this style!
