    Wisdom teeth.

    The dentist suggested that I get my wisdom teeth removed, but I’ve been putting it off because I just haven’t had time. Unfortunately, the longer you wait the more they grow. Eventually, the roots could hit a nerve in your cheek and make your face numb.

    Or so I’ve heard.

    I need to know if and how urgently I should get my wisdom teeth removed.

    Before I go do boring research, does anyone want to share what they’ve done with their wisdom teeth?

    2. tongue-in-cheek-geek answered: I got mine taken out before they surfaced bc they were impacted, but the surgery was easy, for me, as I was knocked out.
    3. 10231994 answered: Apparently when you’re younger, the quicker you get your wisdom teeth the less painful & less of a chance you have to numbing!
    4. thenjennsaid answered: I got mine removed before they actually came out, but it is definitely better to get it sooner than later because recovery may take longer.
    5. wiseoldfriend said: I got mine taken out almost as soon as they started coming in. Surgery took almost no time at all, I just took a few local shots and went on with it. I did bruise badly and I was really swollen, but from what I’ve heard that’s extremely abnormal.
